The School of Radiography program of study offers two years of intensive academic and clinical education. The program is delivered in two years including summer sessions and leads to a diploma in Radiologic Science. Students affiliate at several clinical settings in the Mohawk Valley area. These clinical sites offer a diversity of radiographic procedures and experiences for clinical education of students.
The program is an inter-sequential integration of didactic and practical learning through classroom presentations, discussions, seminars, demonstrations, and supervised laboratory and clinical practice of standard diagnostic procedures.
The School requires each student/intern to complete the minimum of 1,323 theory clock hours of instruction, maintaining an average of 75 and a minimum 1,454.5 clock hours of clinical internship, as well as complete the required clinical competencies to be considered eligible for graduation. The combined total hours are 2,792.5.
